We talk about a city with a history dating all the way back to the 11th century. Already back then the city held a rather considerable position thanks to a large-scale herring fishery. Today it is considered capital for the people in North Jutland and beyond all comparison it can be called Denmark's most lively provincial town, with a large number of restaurants and places of entertainment. Here it must be said that it is not only on "the wild side" that Aalborg is remarkable. You also find a number of historically interesting buildings and other cultural objects of interest along with a flourishing theatre life that certainly deserves your attention. It is absolutely certain that there is something for every taste and it is also an absolute certainty that the participants can expect an experience for life. As a worthy end of an exiting week there will be a huge party where we start by making an appraisal of the festival's activities and end with a disco and performance in Aalborg Congress and Culture Centre.
