Instructor: Torben Kromann Trained teacher with music as his main subejct and works as a music teacher in the Folkeskole and in Aalborg Council Music School teaching saxophone, electric guitar and rhythmic ensemble. Has many years of experience as an activly practising musician in rhythmic bands and as an active musician and instructor for amateur big bands. Content: The workshop takes its starting point in the repertoire of the big band music and on an elementary level it will work with improvisation, theme presentations and the function of the rhythmic group in an accompaniment. The different instruments in the workshop will be trumpets, trombones, saxophones (alto, tenor), electric bass, drums, key-board. It is a precondition that you master your instrument(s) well.
