WORKSHOP-NO.9-CLASSICALMUSIC - SYMPHONI ORCHESTRA

Content: In the workshop you will work with orchestral music within both the classical and the rhythmic repertoire with the starting point in the English musical tradition within brass band music. It will also be possible to try out chamber music ensembles. The different instruments in this workshop are brass instruments (trumpets, horns, trombones etc.), clarinets, transverse flutes, oboes, bassoons, saxo- phones, percussion, key-board. It is a precondition that you have good instrumental skills.

Instructor: Oeyvind Lyngseth

Has his education from The Academy of Music in Oslo with viola as his main subject. Has many years of experience as an activly practising musician and teacher. Today he works as a teacher and orchestra conductor at Aalborg Council Music School.

Lars Audan Hadland is a qualified violinist and violin educationalist from the Norwegian Musikhøgskole and Agder Musikkonservatorium.

From 1987 to 1996 he worked as a violinist, and as a leader of a second violin group in Kristiansand Symfoni/Kammerorkester. He is often found playing as a soloist at local concerts, as an oratorio presenter, and as concertmaster.

Has her education from The Academy of Music in Jutland with clarinet as her main subject. Today she works as a teacher at Aalborg Council Music School where she teaches clarinet, saxophone and ensemble.

Has her education from The Academy of Music on Funen with transverse flute as her main subject. Today she works as a teacher at Aalborg Council Music School where she teaches transverse flute and ensemble.
