As a natural result of siting next to the Limfjord, Aalborg has had a long maritime tradition with the shipbuilding industry, and it forms an important element of the city’s economic life. Therefore it is only natural that Aalborg has its own marine museum with an extensive collection of maritime objects, from the most simple navigational instruments, to a big collection of uniforms, ship models, a real torpedo boat, and a submarine. |
